Twitter founder Jack Dorsey’s first-ever tweet could sell for just under $280 as the crypto investor Sina Estavi listed it for $48 million last week.
Iran-born crypto entrepreneur Sina Estavi, the founder of the now-defunct crypto exchanges Bridge Oracle and CryptoLand, acquired the NFT for $2.9 million in March 2021. Last Thursday, he wrote on Twitter that he intended to sell the NFT and donate half of the proceeds (which he estimated would be over $25 million) to charity. With just seven total proposals ranging from 0.09 Ethereum ($277 at current pricing) to 0.0019 Ethereum (almost $6), the auction closed on Wednesday.

Even though the time he set had passed, Estavi revealed that if he received a reasonable offer, he might take it or not sell it.
Estavi has two days to accept or reject the offer, or else it will expire.
I decided to sell this NFT ( the world’s first ever tweet ) and donate 50% of the proceeds ( $25 million or more ) to the charity @GiveDirectly

Estavi, whose crypto ventures Bridge Oracle and CryptoLand closed after his arrest in Iran last year, is relaunching his Bridge Oracle tokens (BRG). The token was previously listed on the Tron blockchain and will be available on the Binance Smart Chain in the coming weeks.
Investors in BRG are waiting for Estavi to complete the swap of their old coins for new ones. In a recent interview, Estavi, who revealed the token exchange on the same day he placed Dorsey’s tweet NFT for sale again, said that the swap is being carried out manually and may take as long as two months to complete.
