What does the ranking show on the blockchain landscape in Australia
RMIT’s global ranking as the second leading university in blockchain studies gives a clear indication of the blockchain landscape in Australia. Australia is one of the leading countries when it comes to blockchain technology adoption. The country was one of the first to use blockchain technology in finance by accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for transactions. It has been consistent in using blockchain technology as it is already working on possible new regulations for digital currencies.
With RMIT having a dedicated blockchain technology hub, it shows the Australian population is willing to learn more about the industry. Also, with new experts coming out of the university, most of these will translate to innovators and workers in the Australian digital market. This means the country has a secure blockchain technology-powered future. The country will also be expanding revenue sources as the university also trains international students.
