By working with the bitcoin payment service provider BitPay, the Swiss luxury brand Hublot allowed its clients to purchase a limited number of items using bitcoins.
Moreover, Prague City Tourism has partnered with Global Payments to allow passengers of the iconic Tram Line 42 to buy tickets in digital assets.
Hublot Enters the Cryptocurrency World
Numerous fashion sector businesses have begun accepting bitcoins as a form of payment. Hublot, a famous Swiss watchmaker, is the newest member of this organisation.
According to a recent announcement, the company has released a limited collection of 200 watches called “Big Bang Unico Essential Grey.” These items can only be bought via Hublot’s US e-Boutique portal, which accepts cryptocurrency payments.
The price of a single watch from this edition is roughly $21,200, so one would need to part with approximately 1 BTC to purchase in bitcoin (calculated at current prices).
Another Swiss luxury timepiece, Tag Heuer, accepted similar payments last month. On its US website, it said that it accepted cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Shiba Inu, as well as five stablecoins.

Explore Prague for Cryptocurrency
Tram line 42 in Prague is a second example of the most recent company that accepts cryptocurrency payments. One of the oldest trams in the Czech Republic is a tourist attraction. It allows tourists to experience the most prominent attractions in the nation’s capital, including Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and the Powder Gate.
According to local press, the Tram Line has partnered with Global Payments to enable passengers to pay using cryptocurrency. According to Petr Soukup, director of IT at Prague City Tourism, cryptocurrencies are a widely used form of currency nowadays. There is no reason why they cannot be used for recurring payments. They can now purchase tickets using cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin or Ethereum.
He added that consumers might pay using digital assets, but merchants may accept the transaction in either crypto or fiat currency (for example, Czech crowns).
