Tether developers are introducing innovative JavaScript libraries to streamline the transmission of commands and signals to Bitcoin (BTC) mining hardware, including WhatsMiner, AvalonMiner, and Antminer.
GM#Tether ‘s dev team almost finished to create well polished javascript libraries to command and interact with whatsminers, antminers and avalon miners.
Really high quality stuff, super modular, highly polished.
I’m directly coding the core architecture of our Moria mining…— Paolo Ardoino 🍐 (@paoloardoino) August 5, 2023
Paolo Ardoino, Bitfinex and Tether’s CTO, shared insights on X (formerly Twitter) about the mining software, which aims to optimise mining capacity management for more efficient operations. Ardoino also mentioned the potential future availability of certain mining software parts on open-source platforms.
The mining instrument, Moria, plays a pivotal role in facilitating communication among BTC mining ecosystem components. Holepunch technology enables secure, streamlined, and cost-efficient interactions, reducing firewall configuration complexity and improving resilience and maintainability.
Despite legal and regulatory challenges, Tether remains actively involved in cryptocurrency mining. The company recently announced its plans to invest in energy production and sustainable BTC mining in Uruguay, leveraging its robust renewable energy infrastructure.
